Call for Participation
The Conference Program Committee invites you to submit an abstract for either a poster or oral presentation. Abstracts are limited to 300 words in length.  Following the conference, participants presenting either a poster or a talk will be eligible to submit a full manuscript for publication in the Conference Proceedings. As in previous years, we plan to publish the proceedings in BMC Bioinformatics, a highly-ranked open-access journal.

Awards
Student Awards
Students are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations.
There will be two distinct award categories for student attendees: 1) Best Posters; and 2) Young Student  Scientist Excellence Award (indicate our choice to enter this presentation competition when registering and submitting the abstract for the conference).
You must be present at award ceremony to receive the award.

Post Doctoral Awards
There will be two distinct award categories for post doctoral attendees: 1) Best Posters; and 2) Young Scientist Excellence Award (indicate your choice to enter this presentation competition when registering and submitting the abstract for the conference).
You must be present at award ceremony to receive the award.
Travel Stipends
Students who are submitting an abstract for oral or poster presentation are invited to apply for a stipend which will defray conference registration and lodging at the conference hotel for March 23rd and 24th.  Students with institutional support are not eligible for these stipends. Any additional lodging and expenses will be the responsibility of the attendee. Awardees will be reimbursed after the conference.

Abstracts to be considered for Travel Stipends must be submitted no later than January 29th February 10th 2017.

Poster Size
Limitation: 48 inches wide  by 36 inches high (122 cm x 91 cm)
